Report on Guided walk to the German and British Cemeteries, Estrela, Lisbon

On Saturday 27th May, twelve members of the Society went on a guided walk of two closely located cemeteries of historical interest. During the morning we were privileged to be guided round both the Lutheran German Cemetery and the German Roman Catholic Church in the Rua do Patrocínio by Father Clemens Maria Henkel. Following a good lunch, our Chairman, Edward Godfrey, showed us the graves with a military connection in the British Cemetery.
