July. A coach tour of the Marginal road from Estoril to Alges, guided by our Chairman, Edward Godfrey, followed by lunch at the Associação de Comandos at the Bataria da Lage, one of the Barron Forts, at Paço de Arcos.
October 18th. Talk by Dr Mark Thompson, the author of various books on the Peninsular War and an acclaimed authority on the Lines of Torres Vedras. 17.30. Estoril.
