The British Historical Society of Portugal (BHSP) celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2024, having been founded in the year of the Carnation Revolution. As the Society was busy recalling the events of April 1974 and, later in the year, celebrating the new Anglo-Portuguese News website, this notable anniversary rather went under the radar. However, in this 2024 Annual Report, it is appropriate to record the main activities undertaken over the last fifty years and some of the personalities involved with the Society.
