Ana Possolo writes about her great-great-great grandfather who was the owner of coal and iron mines in the Leiria District as well as managing the “Marinha Grande” glass factory. He was created Viscount da Graça in 1870. Ms Possolo suspects that he was the “Craft” referred to in the the Eça de Queirós novel, “Os Maias”.
