A Film Evening of one of the earlier James Bond films made in 1969 was held on the 8th March, 2017, in Monte Estoril. Much of this thriller was filmed in Portugal and Members present recognized the majority of the locations. Eye-witness anecdotes from one of the local ‘extras’ from nearly 50 year ago were shared at the beginning, which shed light on the inner workings of the filming experience. Cheese and wine were served beforehand, together with an optional ‘finger supper’ afterwards.
