This event is already sold out. We hope to organise a further tour in the near future.

Date and time: Saturday, 19th of March, from 10.00 to 12.00.

Programme: our expert guide will be Inês Brandão, who has led us before on many fascinating walks following the paths of the refugees and exiles during WWII.

  • The tour will last approximately two hours,
  • This activity will be entirely outdoors,
  • Applications will be treated on a first-come-first-served basis, as there is a limit of 18 participants.

Start point: by the statue of D. Pedro in front of the Cascais Town Hall (Câmara) … depicted in the centre above.

 

End point: at the Cascais train station.

 

Parking: the following underground car parks are recommended:

  • Cascais Vila shopping centre (reasonably priced and close to the station)
  • Hotel Baía (expensive)
  • Underneath the Loja de Cidadão de Cascais - Rua Manuel Joaquim de Avelar (free on Saturdays)

Price: €8.00 – payable on the day (€10 for non-Members).
