The magnificent Portuguese dinner service (Serviço da Victória) was given to the Duke of Wellington as a sign of gratitude

The Portuguese dinner service was designed by Domingos de Sequeira and later given to the Duke of Wellington in 1816 as a sign of gratitude of the Portuguese nation. It can be seen in Apsley House.
