Celebration of the Skirmish in Óbidos – the first action of the Peninsular War

An evening to celebrate the date of the anniversary of the first action of the Peninsular War, which occurred on the 15 August, 1808 at Óbidos. The programme includes a lecture designed to offer guests a description of the skirmish as it actually happened by presenting it in a modern historiography study with empirical evidence.
