Programme for the Peninsular War Congress 2007 (2007-07-02)
The International Congreee of the Peninsular War, organized by the Universidade Nova, will take place at the Gulbenkian Foundation and the Universidade Nova (nearby) from 7 to 9 November 2007. International Congress on the Peninsular War (2007-04-12)
The Portuguese Historical Academy, the Centre for Anglo Portuguese Studies and the Centre for History at Lisbon University, will host on the 7 to the 9 November 2007, an International Congress comemorating the Peninsular War, signalling the 200 years since the Napoleonic Invasions in Portugal.
Working languages will be Spanish, French, English and Portuguese.
The sessions will be held in Lisbon at the Headquarters of the Academia Portuguesa da História, Palácio dos Lilases, Alameda das Linhas de Torres, Lisbon.

As of 6 November 2007 there will be an exhibition at the Biblioteca Nacional relating to the Peninsular War, organised by Prof. António Ventura and Leonor Machado de Sousa.
